I first read this as 3 single books in a series. Now everyone has the chance to read the entire story all together. No waiting, no wondering. Lucky, you!!! I reviewed each book separately and could have copied and pasted but I wanted concise and not piece meal. SO, if you are a fan of Black Swan you will already know that Dannan tells THE BEST STORIES! and this one is true to form.If you are not a fan yet, prepare to be amazed. Her characters are so real that she makes you feel their emotions, (and this books is full of emotions) Up and down, the ride is "hold on to your hat" worthy. While we see some of the old characters from Black Swan, we are introduced to several new characters. And I think you will love them just as you love the original ones. Can we get a ten star rating??? Danann does not disappoint. Her characters, as always are multifaceted. Her descriptions are sweeping and beautiful. She paints pictures with her words. There is much adventure and some misadventure. Oh, and love... let us not forget the love. After all, that is what started the whole thing, right? SO, the love story is wonderful. But the adventure and mystery is also fun and will keep you guessing until the end. Well done!! I MOST HIGHY RECOMMEND Prince of Demons pt1.2.& 3 If you are new to Black Black Swan, start with My Familiar Stranger, which is free, to start your Black Swan journey!!

This was a cute little side addition to the main series Danann has going on with the Knights of Black Swan. (Which people should really read because it is a great series.)
Learning more about the demons in that world was really interesting. I’ve wanted to know more since the introduction of Litha’s dad Deliverance. Just reading this book made me want to re-read the entire series again…. I need to catch up in the series a few books and hope there is some more of them in them.
Lana is just such a great character for me. I love what she decides to do when things hit the fan with her life. Just uproot it all and try living somewhere totally different than what you were doing. She takes things in stride, though there is a bit of freak out which she keeps contained nicely. I love her sense of humor and caught myself snickering a time or two when she had some dialogue. The first escape she pulled off with Brave is just one instance.
I love Brave; he is a nice mix of everything hot with a dash of naïve added to it. Not too much to make me want to tear my hair out with annoyance, but just enough to make it endearing as heck.
I really loved this story and I’m almost glad I waited long enough for the parts to be made into a bundle. I don’t think I would have kept sane if I read this piece by piece….
I began this series expecting it to be one type of supernatural writing but it turned into so much more with so many various mythical brings and twists on each one, for instance; who would expect demons to be a species with different cultures who are not evil spirits of the devil? All through this series I was amazed, amused, and astounded! It was like no other romance and it never felt sickeningly over the top like women's romance novels can be. You will find yourself mesmerized and one the edge of your seat as you become enthralled with the widely different personalities involved with the order and their various abilities. This series will corrupt everything you've ever thought about vampires, werewolves, demons, fairies, elves, and humans as well as your idea about dimensions. And I thought I had a vivid imagination but Victoria Danann has me beat by a mile. Thanks for thinking outside the proverbial box.
Okay, a word to the wise I am not going to summarize the book(s) so if you want to know that, buy it/them. Funny that because apparently I bought it/them twice - once as individual books and once as a set. I hope one was cheap but no matter, the story is worth it and she is one of my favorite authors.

This is loosely a part of the original Black Swan series and you'll understand some parts better if you read the first few books of that series. However, if you're impatient, read this first then go and read all of those to see what you've missed.

If you have read from the beginning, this is about demons and no vampire. It IS pure Victoria Danann so it's worthy of my 5 star rating... possibly a 5+. So whatever path you take, read it. If you like good paranormal reading, with just a bit of sexual heat thrown in, you're gonna like this one a bunch.
